E-911 ADDRESSING.The County Clerk's office issues all E-911 addresses for the rural areas of the county. A Flood Plain Permit or Exemption is also required in addition to the addressing of a property.LIQUOR LICENSE.The County Clerk's office issues liuqor license for the county. Any establishment offering intoxicating beveragesfor sale at retail in the county, whether in an incorporated or unincorporated areas, is required to have a county liquor license in addition to a state and municipal license (unincorporated areas only). The County Clerk's office maintains account books for both the Treasurer and the Collector as a system of "checks and balances" on county funds.ELECTIONS.The County Clerk is the local election authority and is responsible for conducting all elections in the county, whether the election is for federal, state, county, school, city, or special purpose district candidates or issues.The County Clerk's office maintains the voter registration files for the county and conducts voter registration throughout the county.
