To fulfill this mission, the Sheriff shall provide for the following: a preventative and responsive patrol operation, supported by an effective investigative division; a safe and secure custodial facility for all persons confined there until lawfully released; an administrative division to provide record keeping; a telecommunication center to direct information and requests for assistance from citizens to the correct authority; provide security for the district courts and execute various civil and criminal orders from the court.
